Performance Improvement (PI), Compliance and Training

Location:  SC Main Office

Position Purpose:  The Performance Improvement, Compliance and Training Specialist will ensure PI, CC and Training responsibilities are carried out and staff needs are met within the JRC region. 

Job Specifics: 

Oversees Process Improvement Teams (PIT) including but not limited to coordinating, scheduling, facilitating, documenting  tasks, recording and distributing minutes of meetings, and ensures follow-up of all tasks/concerns.  Is responsible for regional Joint Commission (JC) activities and preparedness including but not limited to Individual System Tracers, Mock Surveys, and special walkthroughs, and coordinates activities in conjunction with organization-wide initiatives.  Champions the organization’s compliance activities by coordinating all compliance activities such as auditing, creates and presents compliance reports and investigates issues and documents/tracks all compliance activities.  Administrates oversight and utilization of e-learning software and develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to performance of job-specific duties.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required/Master’s degree preferred;
  • Three years of experience in mental health or addiction services;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Proficient computer skills;
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently;
  • Ability to work within a team.
