Auxiliary Comes Together to Help Others

“With kindness, compassion and generosity, the Auxiliary's goal is to support women with children who are taking the courageous steps to recover from their addictions.”
That goal was heard during the Annual Meeting and Luncheon for Jackson Recovery Centers’ Women and Auxiliary. Dozens of women learned about how their role in the group has helped shaped the lives of our patients. During the year, the Auxiliary holds parties during the holidays. These are special times because for many mothers and their children it’s the first time they’re experiencing them together. Attendees at the luncheon also heard from a former patient who now works at the Center. She shared her journey from addiction to now a grateful life in recovery. She told the women how grateful she was to them for their generosity and compassion during her time at the Center.
Each Auxiliary member was also encouraged to bring a friend that would be interested in joining this wonderful group. We are proud to say that many of those guests signed up that very day.
