Rosecrance Jackson Centers Postpones Two Upcoming Events

Retirement Celebration for Kermit Dahlen and annual Banquet affected

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Iowa have both made strong recommendations in recent days regarding canceling events with significant attendance. Based on these recommendations, and for the wellbeing of the Siouxland region, Rosecrance Jackson Centers believes it is prudent to postpone two large public events.

Thursday, March 19 – Retirement Celebration for Rosecrance regional president Kermit Dahlen, recognizing 40 years of service is postponed. A future event will be announced, and please wish Kermit well at https://rosecrance.org/retirement-message/

Saturday, April 4 – The annual Friends of Recovery banquet which celebrates and provides support for recovery is postponed, and an alternative event will be considered in coming months.

As a behavioral healthcare organization, the safety of our community, clients, and staff is our highest priority. While it is disappointing to not share in these celebrations at this time, we are confident in the decision to heed the expert recommendations and limit large social gatherings.
